Equipment & Maintenance Policy

Explorer's corporate policy with respect to equipment is to replace our power units every five (5) years and our trailers every eight (8) years. All equipment is washed weekly in both summer and winter months. All city and line haul drivers are required to perform a 54 point inspection for all power equipment and a 17 point inspection on trailers performed twice a day. As a member of the Ontario Trucking Association, it is our goal to ensure that we have the highest standards of safety possible.
